It was a simple job. Find the girl. Bring her home to her father and my slate’s clean. No more jobs. No more running from the Roth family.

I had 3 rules to follow.

2. Don’t touch her.
3. Don’t ask questions. 

Loyal, gritty, cold, ruthless, I would follow them all. No questions asked.

Until I don’t. 

Mazy Roth, she’s unlike other jobs. She’s dark, angry, sharp tongued, unforgiving, and you know, quite frankly, possessed. I could go on here forever, but running with her, I risk losing everything, even my soul.

So why’d I break the rules?

Actually, I didn’t break any of them in the beginning. But there’s one thing money can’t buy.
